Event Details
Ernst & Young will shortly be launching a joint report with industry association Eurelectric, that explores the anticipated surge in EV sales across Europe, the charging infrastructure that is required to support it, and the safe and resilient grid that will be the lynchpin in making this evolution in transport happen. It focuses on the imminent challenges and opportunities that utilities face and identifies what they can do to accelerate eMobility.
Central to the study is the insight and opinions of energy industry leaders such as EDF, EDP, Elia, Enel, ENGIE, Enedis, E.ON, EirGrid, EVN and Vattenfall, as well as inputs from industry bodies and experts outside of the industry, including Climate Group EV100, Driivz, Toyota and Uber.
The launch will take place during Eurelectric’s free-to-attend digital eVision event, Power sector accelerating e-mobility, on 8–9 February 2022. Serge Colle, EY Global Energy & Resources Industry Market Leader, will present the findings of our joint report on 8 February at 10:15 CET. And Thierry Mortier, EY Global Digital & Innovation Lead for Energy, will moderate a panel on e-mobility and the four laws of ecology on 9 February at 10:00 CET.
The eVision event promises to be highly informative and thought-provoking, featuring a very strong list of speakers, including:
- Elisabetta Ripa, Head of Global e-Mobility, Enel
- Miguel Stilwell de Andrade, CEO, EDP
- Mathias Wiecher, Vice President e-Mobility, E.ON
- Sara Riera, Head of Energy & Charging, SEAT
- Doron Frenkel, Founder and CEO, Driivz
- Adina Vălean, Commissioner for Transport, European Commission
You can visit the eVision website to find all the latest information and updates on the event along with the full program.
If you are unable to attend, replays will be available. I’ll be back in touch to share and discuss the report with you once it’s launched.
